The Girl Named Thames Poem by Chiamaka Okorie

The Girl Named Thames

The HOTT river Thames flows through the streets at night
seeking a man to drink from her source.
And the mister stops but once;
he pays to taste her water and leaves her ravished.
Yet another night, for a layman's ill desire.
Such strange things happens at dark.
