The Game Of Life Poem by Paul Reed

The Game Of Life

Rating: 5.0

We rest here now for a while
Having come safely through the storm
We have run another lonely mile
But come from the cold into the warm;

Now everything is once again ordered
Everyone is happy and calm
Peace, momentarily, been awarded
And you are still on my arm;

Despite the trials we have made it
Now we raise a glass of wine
"To the game of life, we played it! "
And passed through the finishing line
