The Further You Go Poem by Anadi Finnish

The Further You Go

Rating: 5.0

The further you go, the world
becomes dark, and even,
blank, I see. The
further you go, the more you seek,
the more you expect and you start
giving up.
Time slows your brain, time kills you
slowly, softly. What a cruel life it is, in which we,
Who live, must die and have an end, so dark.
The end seems dark and it's so near.
Remember the men time killed? A man killed by time.
So will you be,
And so will I.

Beautiful philosophical piece of poetry, well articulated and nicely brought forth with insight. With passage of time everything will pass away. Lovely poem written with conviction. Thanks for sharing Anadi and welcome to Poemhunter.
