Daniel Peter Jones Poems

My Brain is starving
nourishment low,
No conversation or
exciting tones
...

Like a black hole, drinking in its surroundings,
No hesitation or fading hunger,
Endless streams of light swirling to its end
Absorbed in absolute darkness,
...

Theres been a rumour hidden here
That truth can spring from eyes,
The soulful look of a tempered girl
I saw beauty when she cried
...

To be born like this; Sexually apprehensive
Feelings of shame at others embarrassment
Their tight improper jeans moulded
To pipes of skinny flesh; lumps
...

I screamed that I was hallucinating
I was falling from a height
The purple Dragons and Cat head gods
Magnified with Glass my fright,
...

Dot to dot, Pictures illuminating
Evolutions creative eye.

Fashions of belief

You recite emotions
As if practiced and told,
You feel the you within
Imitating the slow
...

You sleep; I lie rigid and turn,
Also the books of the page,
Each crimple of folded paper;
Magnifies in volume as the hour burns
...

You seem alone, distant
You say I never listen
Hear, or understand
...

Its said, in Egyptian texts of past
The Sphinx sits as Leo the lion
The Nile wavers like the Milky way
Do its Pyramids mirror Orion?
...

Voices,
mumbles,
conforming song,
Ignored,
...

To feel brushes warm
On flesh from strangers tips
Fingers hover, magnetic lips
Bumps of Goose with shivers hot
...

So much has changed, in this year thats gone,
Apart from verses and words of our favorite songs,
Apart from videos of you laughing in dance,
Apart from speaking your name, and the memories i have

Morning son, days begun,
lets change you, clean, now play
Don't worry son, you say 'Gluh' 'Gluh'

You judged me for my Silence,

You remarked upon my choice of Clothes and
My ability to joke,

Time sits upon the frosting dials of age;
Weightless, but with substance,

We sit there,
Eyes down, Phone out,

I cooked, we eat,

To be engulfed, by the warm curtain
of Clarity.

I'm Saddened by leaking love,

Is that really me i see?
is that what I've become?
an older, bearded version
of a younger handsome one

The Best Poem Of Daniel Peter Jones

Intellect Drawn

My Brain is starving
nourishment low,
No conversation or
exciting tones

No artistic colors
or
discussion about time
or
Flowering cognition
intertwined with mine.

i need arousing, so
Stroke my thoughts,
I dont want, my wants
to be ignored

I'd like Poetry Science,
History and smiles,
Pyramids and Stars
Constellations and why's?

i need wonderment,
and love, Sex to feel
your opinions and character
discussions to squeeze

Bathe me in creation
and wash me with rhyme
brush me with intellect
let our souls combine

My Brain is starving
Nourishment low
Just feed me something
or i'll have to go.
