The Feasts Poem by Kevin Patrick

The Feasts

Rating: 5.0

In all nations, there is a feast
with two sides, called the rich and poor

The rich devour mercilessly
taking seconds and third servings
as the poor consume the crumbs
Their stomachs dream of being full

and this feast goes on, on and on

The only thing the rich don't eat
Is the justice of their just deserts

Wonderful poem, Kevin. The rich and the poor - the two classes feasting on deserts and crumbs respectively.
