The Fading Stars Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

The Fading Stars

Rating: 5.0

I find myself friendless
The number is made less and less
One by one they disappear
I too count days and fear

Not that I am unaware
Yet dare
And boost
With trust

'God is for all'
Only we wait for call
Do our job as destined
Good advice always listened

I look at the fading stars
Yet praise the sky that is far
Why should I worry about hollowness?
When cheers are plenty to bring on face

Day may come and go
Let us resolve with wind's blow
Let there be smile on our face
Even if we have task to chase
