The Departure Poem by Vishorag Shadja

The Departure

Rating: 5.0

"Doesn't matter what you said,
Doesn't matter what you did,
I am leaving and that is true,
Because I am mighty sick of you."

"Thank you, for giving back,
My house and my comic sack,
Except the important part,
Which is a portion of my heart."

"You can have your heart,
I have torn it far apart,
I came here with nothing,
And I plan to leave nothing."

"It is okay you can take-
Everything like a cheating snake,
Leave nothing but a piece,
Of silence, harmony and peace."

"I hate the hatred airborne,
In no time I will be gone.
I am done and that not a lie,
Revel in joy for this is goodbye."

Looking at her walk past,
He sighed in sad aghast.
Trying to make his heart whole,
He picked the remnants of his soul.
