The Day When The Sea Had Swallowed Me

The aquamarine waves glitter in the morning sun
Sand burns my feet, I laugh, I run.
I stop. White water licks my tiny feet
My ice cream melts, so cold, so sweet.
I see them crabs and fish and rocks
I let the wind touch my golden locks
I try and put snail into my lunch box, but
It quickly slithered under the rocks.
I set my golden hair free
White water splashes on my knee
Big breath and in I go, now I am little part of the sea.
I swim to the little boat, floating just above
Its snow-white sides remind me of my little snow-white dove
The jellyfish, so small and pink are swimming by my side
Just underneath I see a fish, its eyes are green and wide.
I got into the little boat; I see the sun no more
All of the sudden, my boat flips- my head is very sore.
My body dips into the icy sea, I can no longer see
In that awful minute of the day the sea
Had swallowed me.

The jellyfish surround me, all stinging: hands and face
I swim away, looking for land in dark blue violent space.
The sharp dark rocks that underneath all threaten to hurt me
The salty water stings my eyes so hard that I cant see.
I crawl into the wet; cold, sand- white water drags me back
I try and move, my legs are trapped in slimy seaweed sack.
The orange crabs declared war, all clapping beats for bass
Like greatest king one crab was sitting on top of seaweed mass.
I look at glitter on the waves, sand sticks onto my back,
I know that never in my life I’m ever coming back.
