The Crown Of Salt Poem by Luana Del Lobo

The Crown Of Salt

Rating: 5.0

The yellow of the light
Penetrates into the volatile waters
The sea is a tear that burns the face
When he bathes in the ocean.

He enters the fluid
The cold serpentines
Through his naked body
It's a sweat memory
About what the water brought and took.

The sun hits and warms
The sea refreshes and hugs
With its tender whisper
With its wet arms
That embrace him
He flows through the current
He feels the oscillating liquid
It shows him the path.

It's a salty falling asleep
It's a melodious swing
The sea told him its secrets
It entered his nose, his mouth, his ears.

When he realized
It was already morning
He stretched his muscles
He licked his skin and smiled
It was his crown
The crown of salt!
