The Colors Outside And In Poem by Shalom Freedman

The Colors Outside And In

Rating: 5.0

The colors suddenly make me happy for a moment
Perhaps they can also calm me a bit now
The amber the shades of green the yellow leaves
And the bright glistening grass
And the purple flowers -

What I can look at and see now
Against the inner trembling
That doesn't know its own cause?
But turns me again to the leaves
Which now fading as the sun goes down
Leave me somewhat calmer perhaps
But not completely alright-

'But turns me again to the leaves Which now fading as the sun goes down Leave me somewhat calmer perhaps But not completely alright-' - I can relate easily to these lines.
