The Cobras Hissing And Basketed Poem by Bijay Kant Dubey

The Cobras Hissing And Basketed

The cobras,
Blackly, browninsh and whitish
packed into teh bamboo baskets
Small and rounded
And the snake charmers
Coming
To show
The cobras
Hissing and hooded
And swaying
And they singing
And praying submissively,
Referring to kaal and its wheel,
the Snake-God and the stories mythical.
