The Cat And The Rat Poem by Georgiana Hilderman

The Cat And The Rat

Rating: 5.0

A giant was Andre the Cat
A humongous feline at that!
He ate lots of cheese,
for him did it please
And my, did Andre become fat.

There once was a wee little Rat
That lived underneath a straw hat.
She ate herring fish,
On top a tin dish
And gave her wee tummy a pat.

Ha! You've caught the Limerick bug too. It's that Wes Vogler's fault with his oogie stories and cartoons. If you haven't visited his site, do so. There's a treat in store. Being the servant of my big black cat, Mr Purry I was delighted with your own brilliant Limericks. I also like the way you've reversed their diets. I don't think Mr P. likes cheese but he will have the occasional Ice Cream. Looks likr another 10 for you Georgie
