The Bestest Poem! Poem by Denis Martindale

I wrote the bestest poem in the world!
I know I'm only three and just a kid!
It just happened and my pen just twirled and twirled
Before I'd done the thing that I just did...
My Daddy saw me do it!
But he didn't talk me through it!
I framed my verse myself
And I put it on the shelf!
This poem's not as good,
But I want this understood!
I wrote the bestest poem in the world!
