The Best Place To Play Poem by Susan Alldred Lugton

The Best Place To Play

Rating: 5.0

The best space to play
is in one's own mind,
that curious place
where we all can say
I can be anyone,
I can jump the moon,
I can run swiftly,
straight into the sun.
Thoughts dare to tumble,
fantasies dive and spin,
hope is so boundless,
reality a rumble.
Dreams so creative,
future without end
over the horizon,
daring now to live.
Daydreaming aloud,
colours, tastes and smells.
Now out of my mind
and back in the crowd.
