The Abandoned Hope Poem by Indira Renganathan

The Abandoned Hope

Rating: 5.0

Stars are very far twinkling
Hope's clinging to a star there

Night sky's calm watching
We're here for a settlement

Two swords never settle an issue
We know...yet we are here now

Words sound high and higher
For moon to hide bewildered

At that point diverge two roads
With hope feebly twinkling afar
