That's All I Want To Be Poem by Micheal Lambert

That's All I Want To Be

The smile you wear on your face, the intense look you have in your eyes,
The truth your lips ever speak, the peaceful blue clouds in your skies.
The drive behind your success, the strength you find in your weakness,
The joy in your every laughter, your good, your better and your best.

The reason to be strong, the fact in your fiction,
The rhyme in your lines, the melody in your song.
Everything that you dream,
Your aim, your life, your theme.

The moment you wish never end,
The rare beauty that nature creatively lend.
Every word, every thought, every possibility,
Your rights, your wrongs, your ability.

Like the sun to daylight and the moon to the night fall,
Your warmth in the winter...... I just want to be your all.
The secret you keep, the prayer you whisper on your knee,
Nothing impossible I ask, babe, that's just all I want to be.
