That Old Man Poem by mystery lover

That Old Man

Rating: 5.0

Everyone thought he was a nasty old man.
But I knew better.

My friends always thought he had a gun and ate kids for dinner.
But I knew better.

I went over his house once and talked ot him. He was just a normal old man who was in the war. He was lonely and sad.

So I bought him a kitten and went to visit them everyday after school.

I loved that old man so much.

Then one day I came home from school and no one was at his house. I was scared. I thought he ahd died.

A week later when I came home he was waiting on his porch for me.

I wen over to him and asked where he had been.

He called someone from inside the house and I got the biggest surprise of my life!

He had gotten married in a private court house.

I was so excited for them and I loved his new wife.

They were me 'granfather and memaw'

I love them!
