That Little Girl Poem by mystery lover

That Little Girl

This poem is dedicated to all the people of this world who are suffering from war!

A bomb goes off
and I hear a scream.

I turn but no one
is behind me.

I still here the screaming
so I follow the sound.

The screaming
turns to crying.

I follow the sound until
I come to a tree.

Sitting under the tree is
a little girl.

She is bleeding bad
so I take off my coat.

I wrap her in
it and pick her up.

I run as fast as i can off the battlefield
and to the nearest hospital i know off.

I run into the emergency room
and yell for a doctor,

Someone comes over to me and
takes the little girl out off my arms.

They rush her into a room
behind revolving doors.

A soldier from the other
side comes in.

He to dissappears
behind the revolving doors.

When he comes back out
he walks up to me.

He holds out his
hand.

Startled, I take
it.

I find out he is the father
of the little girl.

He thanks me for saving her life
and we both start to cry.

I know that i will
quit the war now.

I find that i am attached to this girl...
because i have a babby girl of my own.
