THANKSGIVING DAY 2014 FOR JAKIE

My brother would have been seventy- four today
He was the best brother to me
I miss him
I am thankful I had him with me
In all those childhood years
I miss him more when I picture him in mind
Oh Jakie
With all your tricks and your fun and your kindness
And your generosity and your smartness and your toughness
And all you had to take and all the work you did
And all the dealings you dealt with
My protector my friend
Who never asked anything of your little brother
Who watched out for him
I miss you Jake
I will always be grateful to God
I had you as my big brother,
