Thanksgiving Poem by Leonard Dabydeen

Thanksgiving

(I)
Fight for civil right
beyond star-spangled despair
I salute each one.
(II)
Every veteran
whose embrace of war of old
stand the test of time.
(III)
This poise I must take
thankful as the wind that blows
every passing day.
