Uplift my spirits and fill my heart
and let me start my day
with wonders of newness that I see
that comes across my way.

Let me be in step with the rhythm of life
and move with footsteps light.
For happiness keeps me right in tune
and brings me sweet delight.

The people I love, the friends I meet
give me what I need
to answer my plea and provide me
with how I should proceed.

Each flower that blooms, each tree that grows
gives my senses desire.
Each bird I see, each squirrel so free
are gifts that I admire.

And as my day becomes the night
let me end this way,
With thanks to give and peace to feel
and words of praise to say
'THANK YOU'
