Thank God, I Am Not Prince H Poem by Hebert Logerie

Thank God, I Am Not Prince H

Thank God, I am not Prince H
Otherwise, I would have to worry
About the security of my family
And mine soon. I am simply Poet H.
If I were to move to Canada
I would acquire a special visa
In order to stay there part-time.
I love Canada, not too much crime
In Montreal, Ville d'Anjoue or Laval
That's where I go sometimes for carnival
To visit acquaintances, friends and relatives.
Je me souviens, I remember. I love Canada.
Wow! I just read that as per many operatives
And connoisseurs, security will cost a lot of moolah
About thirty million dollars annually to the prince.
Darn, that's a fortune. I know that life is priceless
It's expensive to abandon royalty. Don't dance
It's expensive not having a spouse, as a duchess.
I am blessed and lucky of having born normal
Because it costs a fortune when one is no longer royal.
Sometimes being poor is not bad. Happiness
Is being healthy, eating well and not being penniless.
