City improvement

bucket loader

narrowly misses

my red Firebush

and its sprout

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
When our town was in the process of widening the sidewalk on the corner we lost our rockery garden that had been there before we bought our house.The Firebush and its sprout were spared..We planted more flowers but I miss the bunny that use to live in the rockery..
