Talking To God
Our religious feelings are private
What we believe is what we choose
Many degrees of course occur
Loving God I feel I can't lose.
My feelings are all I really know
Perhaps it's the same for you
Upbringing always comes in play
Helping us choose what we should do.
Even though I cannot "see" Him
I "feel" him deep in my heart
I cannot even imagine
If in my life He wasn't a part.
I talk to Him often, and out loud
Mostly while in my home
I always listen to His voice
When I am gone and plan to roam.
I have to say that God is my best friend
For He is always by my side
It gives me such peace to always know
I can talk to Him wherever I reside.
