Tale Poem by hikari enma

Tale

Rating: 5.0

i never was a damsel in distress
nor was i kept in a high fortress
i have never chanced upon a dragon
nor ever eaten an apple with poison

i do not have a brother of seven
nor was snatched away by rumpeltiltskin, the elven
i have never slept with a pea in my mattress
nor did i have experienced to have very long tresses

i have never gone to a ball and left before midnight
nor seen many a man with a wooden horse, over me, til death they fight
i have never changed my fish tails for a pair of legs
nor be like the little match girl of Christmas eve, beg

for i am just a simple me
with simple thoughts and humble words for thee
i don't even own even a small parcel of land
i even live together with the animals band

accept me or not is not of my choice
i dare not speak though ursula never had my voice
it's up to you if you would ask for my hand
for i will just kneel here and wait for God's command

What enchanting allusions to come up with an adorable piece.
