Taking Steps Sideways Poem by RoseAnn V. Shawiak

Slowly caressing my brain, taking me into another
world, slipping and sliding into it's entryway.
An awesome direction to fall into, adjusting
every attitude as I go along.
Taking steps sideways, following the harmony of
past melodies of John Lennon's.
A picture-perfect landscape, appearing in my mind.
Nothing happening to change my world, living
happily just where I am right now.
