Taken My Whole Poem by Gary Michaels

Awoken my eyes uplifted my soul
true burning passion setting my goal
with touch that so tender, soft so defined
wrapped up together hearts all entwined
daylight and darkness each passing day
all hours apart wish time passed away

hearts are racing, smiles when we meet
arms embracing our laughter so sweet
my body around you not wanting untied
feel your heart beating, i feel it inside

eyes are unopened no needing to speak
knowing their path our lips do each seek
a softness so gentle the mixture so pure
nothing is greater this feeling i'm sure

my eyes they are blessed, when seeing the view
all smiling inside, my eyes fixed on you
our gaze is now met, our minds now collide
words are not spoken it says in our eyes

my minds been in turmoil a feeling of dread
holding back words, kept and not said
unable to hold back, one let itself free
you wiped it away then said it simply
a whisper so silent you told that you knew
you felt it inside you felt it was true

feelings all open, i'm now on a high
unable to hold back that deepening sigh
that smile came upon me on hearing you say
wanting to say it with each passing day
three words, so simple, so harder when true
easier to reply than say it to you
you know me so well, made it easy for me
whispered it first my tear did you see

awaken and churning my feelings inside
no more are they wondering, yours also you hide
now that i've said it i'm open and say
i'll say it so more with each passing day
brighten my life each time you arrive
so filled with joy i feel so alive
thought it before, but nothing like this
my body explodes with each touch and kiss
not once have i known it, i'm not in control
you now have my all you've taken my whole

i'll tell all the world of one thing is true
those simple three words from me said to you.
