Syndication

I heard the sound of a distant whisper
Begging me to walk through a threshold
To me it felt like it was somewhat familiar
And that I might've already known
The path to secure syndicated knowledge
Or something that resembles its taste
I can't tell if it's a lie so I can't neglect this

I stood here in awe where the rain has fallen
Empty are the crops, no sign of foreign vehicles
Men have proved themselves to be innocent
And now they're just asking for some miracles
Some of them grew up in this neigbourhood
Some of them even went to school here
Some of them are still being educated, good

So what can we do to stop the cycle?
Society's on the edge of falling apart
I want to learn things and be useful
I want to learn from the heart

What can we do to make things better?
Violence has been the motive and the force
We're a generation that's looking for a future
Not a constitution to cause regret and remorse
Some of us has been quite the hyper-active
Some of us has been sleeping all day long
Some of us has been quite the escapist
