Sweet, Dulce Desserts Poem by Avery Eglantine

Sweet, Dulce Desserts

Ahh! I bit my lips!
How lustful am I of sweets!
The thick honey delight-
The sugary desire to bite!

Thou suffered for the berries in sight
The overflowing dark chocolate and light
The precious thing of my addiction
Is a fatal & mellifluous potion!

Aye! Thou hath been craving too long
Sought the creamy frozen chocolate cake,
abound 'twas my dreamland song;
My dreams were yet to be baked!

The exotic taste of perfect fillings,
overload toppings & a Gelato!
oh! I was insanely addicted to these things!
Caramel flood, taffy & mallows...

oh! so irresistibly alluring
That Creme semolina pudding,
Fruity sorbet fiesta!
en choco o en crema!

Banana parfait or Ice cream cake
and the undying caramelized apples!
Frozen raspberry jello; a want to make
Liège, Brussels & Flemish Waffles...
