Styling The Identity Of Truth Poem by Gerry Legister

Styling The Identity Of Truth

The history we have inherited from.
Centuries of art are not accurate.
But a commercial brand
to sell the things they create.

Much has been made.
Of historical reconstruction.
Most of the truth has faded.
Leaving total conjunction.

the worldwide standard of castaway
wants nothing to do with
preserving historical accuracy.
Styling identity of truth.

Appearance, short, weighty, thin
Hair straight, good-looking
Frizzy, dark-skinned, light-skinned,
The impression appealing.

What we do with history creates an illusion.
Sometimes gives the impression.
There is no neat physical description.
Of people from any nation.

In antiquity, there was a preference.
for undyed type, thick or fine.
History implied in art, acceptance.
Only what the wealthy define.

wrongly receiving honor from people
who are impressed by their fine attire,
remarkable miracles available
are those that you will treasure.

The good thing about the truth and God is they remain the same no matter how many books are written stories told.
