I listen to your melody
pour your soul into me
I am petal of fresh lilac
taking in all your love
all your fear I keep inside
all of you I care too much

to see your smile fade in time
hurt me more than you been gone
I am a man on hilltop waiting
not a rain come but lightning
I shield myself my face shown
I lost everything I ever own
