Still, It Was Only A.....

Rating: 5.0

It was in broad day-light
She stepped on like a floating petal
Along the emerald meadow
All by herself, but her shadow

Never have we seen eye to eye
Met or conversed with each other
Yet, through visionary rays, glued on
For what ever it did care
Fancied and admired!

Taking due time she responded
Very positively, to my astonishment
Dropped at me, like a full moon
Smiling brilliant and shining

Take me away, unwritten, on face
One full world, near my feet
Yes, a world of gross satisfaction
Adorned with love and affection
Happiness and pleasure
Gratified and accomplished!

Intentions fulfilled,
Hard to erase of memory's claim
Yet, just a minor regret
For, it was only a dream

Beautiful Dream...! Though a fleeting experience, still we enjoy it for the moment and in our wakeful hours, it may again come to us and delight! Enjoyed!
