Steady As You Go Poem by Alone Tone

Steady As You Go

Rating: 5.0

Don't write about yourself,
and don't write about me.
Try listening to the wind,
hear how it goes deep within.

Write about how you see,
and write as if you were the sea.
Allow only the waves to stroke you,
feel how they learn you all the way threw.

Take each with a grain of salt,
never leaving others with fault.
Come in and out across the land,
but never to touch another's hand.

So write what feels even,
and make sure it's what you believe in.
Don't let others control your flow
just be yourself and let go.
