Starry Night Poem by Lento Maez

Starry Night

Rating: 5.0

On a starry moonless night
A beautiful bird took flight

Two lovers were holding hands
Watching the waves caress the sands

In harmony their hearts took flight
Causing a starry moon filled night

To echo harmonies far and wide
While the heavens beamed with pride

This is a wonderful poem - a symphony of harmony and a harmonious symphony! 10/10. I can very well relate these two couplets: 'On a starry moonless night A beautiful bird took flight' and - 'In harmony their hearts took flight Causing a starry moon filled night'. And... 'To echo harmonies far and wide While the heavens beamed with pride.' - are appropriate lines for summing up! Thanks for your comments on my poem 'Of Birds And Men'.
