Stampede Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

Stampede

Stampede

Remember holy places
How important they are for all races?
Thousands of people flock every year
With full faith sans fear

These places witness worst kind of stampede
With scores of pilgrims dead
By rush from all sides
There is no security cordon to divide

The role of foreign nations not rules out
The intelligence reports highly talk about
Their involvement to cause such stampede
Kidnap people and place their bodies as dead

United nation has submitted report
With many nations chance to retort
Is this way to malign place?
At least considered to be holy for some races

Some of countries spy on such festivals
Concentrate their activities on arrival
Send secret agents for murders of prominent leaders
place on record to show as if they were sufferer of accident

PIc: - United nation's judge who carried out investigation
