Special Event Poem by Daniel Peter Jones

Special Event

Voices,
mumbles,
conforming song,
Ignored,
bored,
dont belong,
Chanting,
crackling,
exquisite lies,
Tortured,
ignited burning sighs,
Leaving,
smiling,
contact of eyes.
Dishonest kisses and fake goodbyes,

Thanks, it was great, let's do this again?
Same time next week?

such a Special Event

Don't belong? Don't kid yourself. Everybody belongs. We all have our own place in the world. We just have to find it.

Yes i agree, which is why i knew that in the subject of this poem, i certainly didn't belong there, because i belong somewhere else. Thanks for reading
