Soul Mate Poem by Akade Emmanuel I

A salute to nature that welded our souls,
Thanks to hope and trust that bond us to love.
From the vicissitudes the hearts sore
But the pains unnoticed with love.

One soul in two wonderful bodies
Melt as one in a singular meeting;
Like giants dwarfed by same hobbies
And like mounts shrunk by weather-beaten.

This solid foundation we built with risk
Bearing the wind and snow,
Has won us a space we cannot risk
These far-fetched feelings that flow.
