The Night Wedded Mr And Mrs Ayede Poem by Akade Emmanuel I

The Night Wedded Mr And Mrs Ayede

It broke the gloomy silence
When you surfaced to shroud
The agony of the 13.5'11
We grinned with delight
And indeed, it kept our heads
Kwande Ushongo shall be free' you said!

From the dronning of the merriment
That once again emanated from
Ajio, Sha'-Ya
I felt concerned
I dressed to dance
I was about dancing with you
when I heard a scream
'Oh! She's gone'

The tears pierced through my heart
Like the sharp cartridge
By which he was murdered
My soul wriggle
For these crumpled souls
My crinkled heart crimple
For the wrinkled faces

Solemly from above I beseech
And from above I perceived
No! I am well aware
Every cloud has a silver linning
From above I perceived
Without the grand architect
We'll be drown
In our stream of tears

Oh!
To the cross we lean
We'll mourn till noon
But won't loose faith-
The solace of solemn souls.

Za Dedoo, great couple! ! !
