Sorry Poem by Pen Anthony

Sorry

Rating: 5.0

Years haven't been tender to my ears
I hear the sound of your voice in my sleep The grief in your cry
Wrings my heart dry
To forget you i try

All my efforts in vain
Perhaps i deserve it
For turning your love to pain,
I hurt you
Broke your tender heart

To love me you did
With every bit of you
All i did was laugh -
At your 'desperation'

When you left
Time was all i had
I've pondered how things would've been
For my heart grew fonder

My heart is heavy
Guilt has eaten my soul
I have to say sorry
For i feel sorry for you
For me too
