Sorrow's Experience Poem by RoseAnn V. Shawiak

There are many misgivings and doubts as we stumble
and falter through life, yet there are those of us
who continue our struggles with adversity in faith.

Hopeless situations gather gladly around, breaking
down spirits, building depression steadily upwards.

Waiting impatiently for a break in storm clouds,
floating above us, hoping beyond hope that the sun
will shine through again.

At times it does, clearing away misfortune and
grief for a while, yet on tomorrow's horizon,
another storm is already growing.

Walking straight forward into it's expectations
we grow through sorrow's experience.
