Song To Thee Poem by Vera Sidhwa

Song To Thee

Oh my God, Oh my God,
You have made the lilies white,
You have made the evening light,
And the perfume in the air.

Yes my Lord, yes my Lord,
And we praise your very life.
We talk about strife,
That the world would be without.

Oh my God, oh my God,
You have made the sliver stream,
You're the flower in my dream,
And I sleep in the midst of love.

Yes my Lord, yes my Lord,
Some people say you're not so,
You're not anywhere they go,
And they do not see any love.

Oh my God, oh my God,
Who made all the world and thee.
Who made all the life and me,
Your're the only friend I know.
