Song That, S New Poem by Vera Sidhwa

Song That, S New

No matter which way,
That songbird sang,
No matter what tunes he played,
It was a new song.

This bird twittered loudly,
And his song was shrill.
This bird sang softly,
And his song then got still.

No matter which way,
That songbird sang,
No matter which tunes he played,
A brand new song here laid.
