Sometimes we gotta cry
Gotta let all the pain en frustration out
Shake our fists
Curse at the sky
Look the sun in the eye
Not backing out
Because we can stand and stare those blinding glares down

Sometimes life hurts
People scream and shout
Our worlds overrun with chaos
confusion

Sometimes we wake up
To a sky all cast grey
The birds aren't here
The flowers have died

Then sometimes someone special comes along
The day is bright
Beauty envelops
Can't stop smiling
Laughing 'til we hurt

And those
are the sometimes that count
