Some Day Poem by Cindy Thacher

Some Day

Rating: 5.0

Life is all that's meant to be
a journey, with mountains to climb
high tops and deep valleys, some times
life offers no guarantees.

I may wander down a new road
searching for someone I once knew,
like the wind, that memory blew
away forever, I'm gettin' old.

Some day, I may not know you
so please call me by my name,
I am still me, things seem the same
I don't see the hell I'm goin' through.

Death will finally make it's call
there is no need to be afraid,
the mortal debt has been paid
a life well spent, that is all.
