Solitude Poem by Raven Keller

Solitude

Rating: 4.4

Beauty fades..
Love changes...
And I'll always be alone.

In my despair, my darkest days
I close myself to the outside world
Behind steel bars, I lay alone
By choice, not by force.

My one fear, my one desire
Save me, seal my fate
The truth of life is simple
Never sleep, never die
Its better to be alone.

Dear Raven, I have some of similar style and substance packed away in the basement written all those years ago. Solitude is a very popular subject for poets in general. You get a strong 8 from me on this one. Gregory
