Solitude Poem by Shruti Goswami

Solitude

The palace of my dreams
Far removed from time
Yearns for solitude.
Amidst the shades of green.
And lotuses wide awake.
I tip toe in to see the buds untouched
Resplendent in their infancy.
Could I be removed?
From the filth and grime of mundane existence
With failed attempts at subsistence
Transports me back
To the oasis of solitude.

Well written. Some moments of solitude every day can be so refreshing. However solitude lasts too long, it can deteriorate in loneliness.
