So Old Poem by Marcquiese Burrell

So Old

can't escape my mind
striking at sporadic times
and the climate of our relation changed
but it seems somethings remain
I don't understand how I could let you
anywhere inside
you are no good for me
Always have left me dissatisfied
Once upon a time
I would cling to each beautiful lie
you keep me falling into a web
you were so convinced your loves inescapable
Much to concerned with a charm that's unbreakable
I don't understand how I could let you
anywhere inside
This spell you've got over me
Has just been unbound
So old
it's getting to be
So old
You can believe
I've put out the fire
hells not paradise
when the love is so cold
