'So far'

Hope your day is wonderful too.
Been oh so utterly missing you.
Just from a dream, and upon my wake
Your wish touched my heart but I also felt it break

Cause you're so far and I hear your call
Cry tears for you, I rush, .. But stumble and fall
Want your head on my pillow your breath in my ear
Want to woo you with words you never thought you'd hear

To be the mistress, the lover, and a lady in wait
To run my fingers across your sweet face
But I'm the maiden who lies in deepest distress
Tears welling and waiting to fall on my dress

For there's no one, ever, else that I would want to
Dry the tears from my eyes, my dear, only you
For my heart has sailed crossed half a continent away
To land, in your hand, forever to stay.
