Sky Lantern Poem by David Bisacca

Sky Lantern

Rating: 5.0

Begins weighty, drab and dark
as the way past memories lurk
Small flicker of flame it begins to inflate
In that soft glow i never saw such light
Never felt my future so bright
As our hearts is now lighter than air
It carries our hopes and dreams aloft
Up to be viewed by a celestial lot
Such a small note, can't write all i need to say
Just - 'as one i wish we will stay'
Yes on small note you can have much to say
