Sky High Poem by Devanshi Khetarpal

Sky High

The sky changes
Everyday.
Nasty way.
Takes my wings
In its swings.

You're meant to shine.
Fail to keep your promise,
And I'll make you cry.

The sky teaches
Me
To cry.
I spend my days
In its grass.

You're meant to shine.
Fail to keep your promise,
And I'll make you cry.

Maybe we're
Not one
Anymore.
We're different.
I love the stars.
But not the night sky,
Dark
And lonely.
If the stars
Shone with
The sun.
I'd fall
In love
With the sky
Once
More.

You're meant to shine.
Fail to keep your promise,
And I'll make you cry.

You're meant to shine.
Fail to keep your promise,
And I'll make you cry.
